Professor D.J. Raski Academic Merit Award
The Professor D.J. Raski Academic Merit Award is open to all members of the
Nematological Society of India below the age of 35 years. The award carries a value of Rs. 4000/- and a gold medal will be given to the best paper presented during the contest, which will be organized at the Society’s meeting every two years. All those interested in competing for the award are required to send brief abstracts (not exceeding 500 words of their unpublished research papers) to the General Secretary, Nematological Society of India, Division of Nematology, IARI, New Delhi – 110012 not later than a date announced by the General Secretary. The papers will be evaluated by the preliminary screening committee and only those accepted will be permitted to present the full papers at the Society meeting.
The following are the rules and regulations for the award:

The award will be given to the best paper presented during the contest at the meeting of the Nematological Society of India. The award can be given in cash or kind (books or any other item helpful in research).

All contestants must be members of the Nematological Society of India and below 35 years of age.

The award will be judged by a committee appointed for the purpose and their decision shall be final.

In the case of more than one author, the award shall be shared equally.

Receipt of an award shall not exclude scientist(s) from being considered for a subsequent award, but it shall not be given before a lapse of at least one intervening society meeting.

If the work presented relates to the thesis for the award of any degree, the concerned student should present the work and not the guide even though he may also be below 35 years of age.

The work should have been carried out under Indian conditions and should relate to the work done during the preceding two-year period.

The time for the presentation shall be 15 minutes
